My creative space

Today the weather wasn't too good, so we decided to stay indoors. I wanted to play with my polymer clay for a long time, and I had a special project in my mind...

...but as always, I found one of my rhinestone supply bag and I started to create all this one of a kind things, what I will use on bobby pins, rings and earrings. Lots of sparkle and glitter :)

Gigi like watching me working and she wanted to play with her Play Doh too. She is such a little artist!!

Gigi was asking me to show her how I make my roses...I shown her step by step and she did so well! Here is her 1st rose :)
I used all kind of different color laser glitters and glass rhinestones, what I bought long time ago. I love how every each of them are unique, not one the same.

One of the great things of being hand sculpted!
Here is a one of the final piece, after I baked them in the oven and sealed them with special glaze. You can found this rose ring in my Etsy shop.

One of my favorite piece, I love the lavender glass rhinestone in this ring!

My creative space

ok...here it is, I show you what I was writing about in my twitter page yesterday.
I was thinking of this design for quite a while now. Last week I bought some delicious colours satin ribbons and I thought this purple ones will just fit to create my new statement necklace.

First I choose the apple/lime green organza as a base colour and hand cut and singed lots of little petals for the flowers. I found some gorgeous ribbons in my supply box.

I selected some metal filigree, rhinestones, glass beads, mother of pearl bead and some sweet vintage style buttons.

After a long-long hand sewing (10-11 hours all together), I finished this statement necklace today.

This necklace will be such an eye catching piece on someone!!

I loved mixing the rich colour fabrics, ribbons and tulle together.

The sequin details with the glass beads just fit in perfectly with the sweet handmade flowers.
I used double ivory satin ribbons to tie the necklace for a desired length.

Love the purple, lilac and green colours together.

For the perfect smooth back finish, I hand sewn some satin fabric, and signed/dated it by hand.
Just like my paintings, this is a fiber art and deserved to be signed by me.

You can find this One Of A Kind Statement necklace for sale in my Etsy shop.

Meet Giselle, the gorgeous Bridal or for Special Occasion Head piece

I was inspired by the Disney film called Enchanted, Giselle wore a beautiful head piece with lots of long ribbon on it. I love watching that film with my little daughter, as it's so romantic!!! I just love the romantic and feminine feel to this On Of A Kind head piece.
Everything handsewn, no glue been used when I created this pretty haircomb.
You can find this on my Etsy Store for $54.00

Here is my newly designed ring :)

I been making this ring all afternoon. It is made of silver wire, black organza and grey freshwater pearl. My new design name is "The little black flower". As the little black dress, this ring is good for every occasion too!
Look so fragile and so romantic.
